Lynette Kilby
Aunty Lynette worked as a Field Officer in the Griffith office for many years before becoming a Regional Community Engagement Manager.
As a respected Elder, Aunty Lynette ensured cultural protocols across the region were understood by our staff and the agencies we work with. Aunty Lynette understands the importance of connection to country and kinship. Lynette was awarded a National Award for Excellence from the Attorney General.

Julie Perkins
Julie Perkins is a proud Gumbaynggir woman from the North Coast of NSW and has been with the ALS for over 24 Years.
As a young person, Julie spent school holidays as a work experience student with ALS Grafton and later went on to study law. In 2006, Julie became the Zone Manager of Northern NSW and went on to hold roles of the Regional Manager and Regional Community Engagement Manager.
Julie has been a fierce justice advocate for her community and First Nations communities across NSW. Julie was awarded a National Award for Excellence from the Attorney General.

Michael Higgins
Michael is Yorta Yorta and Wiradjuri man from the South Western slopes and plains of NSW..
Michael started at the ALS in the role of Practice Manager Care & Protection/Family Law in 2016 at the Parramatta office. Michael went on to become Regional Community Engagement Manager for the Central South Western Region in 2018 and also held roles as the Acting Chief Operating Officer and the Senior Manager Policy and Community Partnerships.
Taking a human rights approach, Michael possesses a passion for reducing the gap around critical areas of health and early childhood with a particular focus on ensuring children receive the best possible start to life and that they have positive connections to their culture/s and kinship networks.
