Primary Purpose of the Role
The primary purpose of this role is to guide admin team in supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander legal services. Assist in delivering high-quality support to Indigenous clients. Perform administrative tasks, including data entry and front office coordination.

About the Role
The Senior Administration Officer is part of the Criminal Law Practice based in Redfern.
The Senior Administration Officer will be responsible for below but are not limited to:
- Guide and support the administration team, overseeing daily operations and workload management.
- Ensure accurate data management, including client information, file processing, and system maintenance.
- Coordinate office operations, including reception duties, phone systems, and maintaining a professional environment.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support, including document preparation and liaising with various professionals.
- Assist with client inquiries, non-court matters, and referrals, maintaining timeliness in case management.
- Foster collaborative teamwork across all departments and offices to ensure effective coordination.
- Uphold and promote respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural practices, while adhering to ALS policies, values, and professional standards.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (35 wpm typing speed)

Desirable:
- Experience in Indigenous community-based organizations
- Previous work in legal practice
