Aboriginal Legal Service (NSW/ACT)

ALS in the community

ALS staff attend NAIDOC celebrations every year throughout NSW and ACT.

ALS Field Officers regularly attend schools, community events, sporting events and family days to talk to people about the ALS and our services.

ALS Lawyers and Field Officers attend Open Days and Forums and conduct Legal Outreach to talk to people about their legal rights, the law and how the ALS can assist.

ALS staff are active in providing Community Legal Education talks, workshops, presentations and conversations throughout the community of NSW and ACT.

ALS staff create legal resources for the community. We have films, brochuresfact sheets, and presentations. We also have promotional gear for young people, such as drink bottles, rulers, fridge magnets, boomerangs and colour pencils. Place your order here.

Do you have a community event we should attend? Would you like us to deliver Community Legal Education in your area? Please contact us.
