Funding for ALS services are predominantly provided by the Australian Federal Government. Some special purpose services are funded by other bodies, such as the NSW State Government and the NSW Legal Aid Commission.

Our funding is limited, and the level of services that we provide are constantly examined to ensure that we provide the best possible service with our limited resources.
